Summer in Latvian natural wonderland beckons for adventurous students!

Kids who want to spend their summer in a multi-cultural, nature-oriented, creative and above all fun environment now have the option of attending the Waldorf Exchange Summer Program in Latvia. The Waldorf Exchange Summer Program is run by the Adazi Free Waldorf School, located just outside Riga, the Latvian capital. Samirand Ventures is now working with WESP’s international partner to promote its summer camp and support students who wish to attend.

The Waldorf Exchanges Summer Program provides well-rounded, healthy and natural activities for children aged 7-14 years old. Camp days are filled with singing, play, handcrafts, art, nature and adventure walks, bike riding and river rafting. There is also plenty of time for the campers to explore the picturesque local environment, to create, and to dream amidst the beautiful fields, forests, gardens, and rivers.

The Waldorf Exchange Summer Program provides an opportunity for children to participate in activities that are completely different from regular school programs but that are carefully designed to allow for each child’s personal, emotional, social and academic development. The camp is situated in a beautiful part of Latvia called Latgale, near lake Rusons. Campers live in traditional log cabins and the campus is surrounded by forests, meadows and many lakes. A healthy and locally sourced breakfast, lunch, and dinner is provided daily by the local guesthouse as well as regular snacks.
